Mahabali, the demon king was a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu. Rakshabandhan is the day of love and protection. This day mainly celebrates between siblings to bestow their love and affection for each other. Sisters tie Rakhi to her brother and pray to God for his well-being. And the brother pledges to protect her from evil.
